About us

Our lab is a Unit of the Center of Animal Genetics and Breeding, Sichuan Agricultural University. It is also affiliated to the College of Animal Science and Technology. The Lab is currently located on the fourth floor of the Sixth Teaching Building on Chengdu Campus.

We applied genomics and bioinformatics methods to the investigation of animal genetics and human diseases. Our previous work mainly focused on identification of genes and sequence variations underlying the formation of important economic traits for pigs. We are now interested in the study of pig as a biomedical model and xenotransplantation donor. We also carry out research on biomedical informatics, including study on human heart diseases, placenta development, leukemia, breast cancer and etc., mainly through collaboration with experimental scientists and physicians.
